Privacy Notice

Controller
The maintainers of the open-source project WildGuard AI / open-wildguard-hub. Privacy requests: open an issue on the repository.
What is processed
- Hosting logs (Vercel Inc.): IP address, timestamp, requested page, user agent — to deliver the pages and block abuse. Kept briefly, never used to profile anyone.
- Browser storage: your language and interface state
(e.g.
wildguard_lang). Not cookies, never leaves your device. - Map tiles: the Leaflet library is self-hosted, but the map background is served by CARTO's CDN, which receives your IP when the map is shown (CARTO privacy policy).
No AI service is called by default. As published, the Script Generator runs in demo mode with mock output and no API key — nothing you type leaves your browser. If you point it at your own local Ollama model or your own OpenRouter key, your browser sends the text there directly, under your account. We never see it.
Field deployments
This notice covers the website only. A live deployment handles camera images, GPS positions, tip submissions and evidence on suspects: that processing belongs to the deploying organisation, which needs its own DPIA, retention rules and legal review. The software ships with no telemetry and sends nothing back to us.
Rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — though with no accounts and no user records there is nothing here to retrieve beyond the short-lived host logs. You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
